When Jeb and Amanda pondered what they wanted for their wedding day, they found they desired to keep things intimate and true.
This meant surrounding themselves with friends who mean the world to them. This meant bringing their sweet pooch along for the festivities. And doing this outside in the chill and rain, because that’s often what Seattle is all about.
So, on a crisp and clear day, Jeb and Amanda led a parade down to the Seattle waterfront to say their ‘I Do’s.’ Their words were personal and their vows were sweet.
Simply, perfect in all ways.
One of the prettiest places in Seattle for an intimate and wonderful ceremony, no matter the season?
Volunteer Park! I love this park for many reasons.
It’s in a neighborhood and offers easy access and parking. It has so many layers and back drops for a tiny wedding: under trees, overlooking a reflection pond, the dahlia garden and more.
Brandon and Leeda, and 2 happy witnesses, were married at Volunteer Park this month. Easy, simple and no crazy! Much happiness to a very beautiful couple…
There are some moments in life that are extra special and precious.
It was my happiness to be with Andrew and A.J. as they exchanged beautiful vows before a small and intimate group of friends on a crisp Saturday afternoon last week in downtown Seattle.
This moment was a long time coming for these two loving men. We celebrated their path to their wedding day and the anticipation they have for their shared future.
Andrew and A.J., I wish you so much love, happiness and joy on your marriage adventure!
The Cedarbrook Lodge is one of my most favorite venues for an elopement in the Puget Sound area. Simply, it’s a perfect spot for an “I Do” for 2.
Located a few minutes from Sea-Tac airport, this gorgeous property is situated in a nearby neighborhood.
Surrounded by the most beautiful landscaping and gardens, couples enjoy the value they receive from booking an elopement package at Cedarbrook Lodge. And no, I don’t get a kick-back for all of this, just really happy guys and gals!
On one fine day last month, Darren and Carlene said “I Do” on a warm Friday evening, in the garden, with a champagne toast afterwards. And with great anticipation, they boarded a boat the following day to Alaska.
Simple, easy and no crazy. Perfect.
Jason + Tori.
It was important for these two darling people to celebrate their wedding day, complete with a sweet and romantic ceremony for ‘2’ at the lovely Woodmark Hotel in Kirkland, Washington.
Like Jason and Tori, many couples opt for a ‘big day’ or elopement in a small way.
There are many personal reasons for this. Simply, there is no right or wrong here…just the knowing about what is most important for such a lifetime moment.
I loved EVERYTHING about working with Lisa and Dave in the months before their beautiful and intimate wedding ceremony on July 17th at The Salish Lodge in Snoqualmie…and EVERYTHING about their wedding day.
This sweet couple, who traveled from Canada to be married at The Salish Lodge, worked with me to craft a wedding ceremony that was personal, joyful and one that honored the beautiful people around them – Dave’s children and their partners.
There are couples I will remember forever. Dave and Lisa, thank you for your graciousness, kindness and grace – I wish you much love and good fortune on your wedding adventure!
This was just so much darn fun!
I met Cameron and Allison on a rainy Friday evening to get them beautifully married in the very happy presence of their parents.
Cameron and Allison chose Snoqualmie Point Park for the privacy and the beauty – the mountains are just gorgeous and the scenery is spectacular!
While it was raining as we all pulled into the parking lot, the sky cleared up and a bit of sunshine peaked through as we started their ceremony.
Much happiness to such a sweet couple!
When I walked through the door and first met Harold and Terri, I said to myself, “yes, I so like these people!”
This lovely couple of more than 20 years, traveled down from Canada to be married at the home of dear friends in Bothell on a very sunny and warm afternoon in late May.
I love home weddings. They are easy, they are fun and the intimate atmosphere helps remind all of us what is important more than anything on a wedding day: the love and devotion of two people.
We had sunshine, we had wind, we had rain – and we had a lot of LOVE!
On Friday evening, May 12th, the sweetest couple exchanged the sweetest vows at one of my most favorite parks, Snoqualmie Point Park in Snoqualmie, WA.
In the presence of their parents, Cameron and Alison, who have known each other since Kindergarten, exchanged vows and rings…in an intimate and personal lifetime moment. Such happiness!
One of the best ‘deals’ for an elopement in the Seattle area is The Willows Lodge in Woodinville.
Many of my couples love the ease of the “I Do for 2” package which includes a wonderful room/overnight, lovely amenities and if you need it, 2 witnesses (which is a big deal for some couples).
Benjamin and Rebecca took advantage of all of this goodness and were sweetly married at The Willows Lodge on April 19th, surrounded by 6 people who mean the most to them. Happily, the rain held off and we had their ceremony at the little waterfall grotto, which is a favorite among couples. And what a happy, happy ending and kiss!
