Fun & Easy Locations/Venues for Your Seattle Area Elopement, with Officiant Annemarie Juhlian
If you live in the Seattle and Puget Sound area, you have a head start around selecting a location or venue for your elopement, or small and intimate wedding ceremony.
If you are from out-of-the-area, it’s more of a challenge to find and select a place to have your wedding ceremony.
So, to make things super easy, how about a couple of ideas/suggestions that may be helpful as you figure things out?
Volunteer Park: This is a gorgeous city park just outside of downtown Seattle, one of my favorites for a wedding ceremony. There are many outdoor spaces and vistas, plus the on-site Conservatory, (for an indoor option).
Hamilton Viewpoint Park: Located in West Seattle, this is a neighborhood park with an expansive view of the Seattle Skyline and Puget Sound in the background.
Parsons Garden: An intimate and cozy neighborhood park, on Queen Anne Hill, with water views across the street.
Alki Beach (next to Salty’s Restaurant). One of the best locations to get married on Alki Beach is the beach/grassy area, just to the LEFT of Salty’s on Alki Restaurant. There is also a dock for photos and fun.
Note: For city parks, please contact the Seattle Parks Department to secure a permit for your wedding ceremony.
