You’ve got to love a couple who is so family oriented that their finest wish is an intimate wedding ceremony with their three children.
And Josh and Janice did just that. With their 3 boys as their “best men,” this devoted and inspiring couple “eloped” to The Willows Lodge in Woodinville and shared vows in a ceremony just for 5.
And together with their sons, Josh and Janice hand-crafted a memento to take home from their ceremony…with fully participation by their best little men!
Josh and Janice – much continued happiness as you launch on your marriage and family adventure!

Planning your Seattle elopement from afar? I so understand and empathize how this goes.
Like Claire and Sarah, if you find the right people, it is much easier and much more fun to do the “planning part” before getting on a plane, train or in a car.
For your small/intimate ceremony and celebration, I offer this fast counsel:
– Surround yourself with great people. Find a lovely venue, book your Officiant, secure your marriage license, decide on a great place for a post-ceremony dinner or lunch and figure out any transportation requirements. Look to your Officiant and Photographer for referrals and for assistance in this process.
– If flying into Seattle, make things easier by having your Marriage License issued/valid and ready for pick-up. This way, you skirt the 3-day waiting period and can fly in and pick up your license (or have your Officiant pick it up).
– Book a Photographer. Some of the best wedding photographers in the Puget Sound area offer affordable and easy packages for your elopement. You want someone with you for a short while to capture sweet wedding day moments. I invite you to take a peek at Jenny Goldberg-George, who gifted Claire and Sarah with gorgeous photos from their ceremony and celebration – www.jennygg.com
Sasha and Amanda Ackerly – you are so very married!
These two beautiful ladies traveled from the Mid-West to Seattle to marry at The Edgewater Hotel in downtown Seattle on Thursday, November 14th.
Joined by 20 of their best people – all who traveled from different parts of the United States for this lifetime moment – Amanda and Sasha shared poignant and beautiful vows and shared in a ceremony that not only celebrated the two of them but the intimate gathering of folks who traveled far to be there!
Sasha and Amanda – You have inspired those around you for 16 years with your loving relationship. Here is to many more happy years together!

Billie + Olsi.
Married on a gorgeous Seattle May afternoon at the Woodland Park Rose Garden, adjacent to the Zoo.
Yes, the guest list was small (including Billie’s two beautiful daughters) and the feeling of joy and anticipation was BIG.
Billie and Olsi – much happiness on your continued adventure!

I so LOVE this photo by Photographer Jenny Goldberg-George!
Taken at “the kiss,” this sweet and intimate moment captures a lifetime moment for Brandy and Jenee on one very cold and windswept February day on the Edmonds, Washington waterfront.
And it captures my sweet happiness to be a part of this couple’s wedding day.
Brandy and Jenee – what I remember: I marvel at their journey and years together. A very devoted, loving and fun-loving couple! Wedding cupcakes to die for! An intimate gathering of very happy family and friends. Freezing cold on this Saturday February morning! Love. So much love!
Mari and Dina – you are so very married!
These beautiful ladies made their way to Seattle from Las Vegas and exchanged sweet vows in a very emotional and sentimental week-day wedding ceremony at The Willows Lodge.
The beautiful photo above, taken by photographer Jenny Goldberg-George, captures the essence of this loving couple – devoted, inspiring, fun-loving and adventurous!
Mari and Dina – much love to you!
I loved everything about working with Regine and Francisca.
This sweet couple “eloped” to Seattle to be married on the 11:25 a.m. run from Seattle to Bainbridge Island on December 12th.
Accompanied by Regine’s sister and Photographer Jenny Goldberg-George, Regine and Francisca exchanged heartfelt words and vows on a blustery and beautiful Seattle morning.
Regine and Francisca – so much LOVE to both of you!
Ted and Aimie arrived for their elopement at The Willows Lodge in Woodinville with style – on their bicycles!
Photographer Jenny Goldberg-George captured this sweet photo immediate after they said “I Do,” with bicycles decorated in signage, ribbons and empty cans.
Sometimes a most simple element can totally “make” a moment.
Congratulations, Aimie and Ted!
