One of my most favorite neighborhood parks, for an small/intimate wedding ceremony or elopement, is the lovely Volunteer Park.
Located in the Capital Hill neighborhood of Seattle, Volunteer Park is an exquisite place in nature that fully embraces celebrations of all kinds, including a lovely wedding ceremony.
It was my happiness to join Kyle and Misa for their wedding ceremony at Volunteer Park, surrounded by Kyle’s Parents and Step-Mother. Bride Kisa’s people were all in China, Kyle’s two delightful Moms stepped up to love on Misa.

One of the prettiest places in Seattle for an intimate and wonderful ceremony, no matter the season?
Volunteer Park! I love this park for many reasons.
It’s in a neighborhood and offers easy access and parking. It has so many layers and back drops for a tiny wedding: under trees, overlooking a reflection pond, the dahlia garden and more.
Brandon and Leeda, and 2 happy witnesses, were married at Volunteer Park this month. Easy, simple and no crazy! Much happiness to a very beautiful couple…
Sean and Joanna “eloped” to Seattle and got married this past Friday at one of my favorite places in nature in Seattle – under the ‘big tree’ behind the Asian Art Museum in Volunteer Park.
Joined by their parents, we shared in a sweet and intimate ceremony for two and with the people who love them most in this world.
A wedding. Big or small. When a couple follows their heart and values, it is always right.
Much happiness to you, Sean and Joanna!
