Maya and Peter.
For more than 7 years, they shared a loving and very inspiring relationship, living and working from different places around the globe.
On a sunny Saturday in March – in Woodinville, Washington – this beautiful, gracious and fun-loving couple came together for a sweet and poignant wedding ceremony, surrounded by Maja’s sister from Ireland and a few chosen “best people.”
The weather on their wedding day, March 28th, was beautiful in a crisp and chilly kind of way and perfect for an intimate ceremony outdoors in the garden at The Willows Lodge.
Peter and Maja – much happiness to both of you!
I sense a trend in the air!
In the past year, the “guest list” for elopements has been slowly growing. It used to be 2-4 guests. Now, we’re averaging about 8-10 guests.
And to prove my point, let’s celebrate Sean and Johnna, married over this holiday weekend at The Salish Lodge, joined by 12 very happy family and friends for a special post-ceremony dinner.
And sharing this holiday weekend, congrats to Matt and Beth, married in a sweet and simple ceremony with 8 family members present.
Both perfect in all ways.
Congratulations to Aaron and Jenny, just married at The Willows Lodge.
Two loving people. Two delighted witnesses. All very private.
Easy. No crazy. Perfect for loving people in love.

Cori + Hasan.
Married at The Willows Lodge this past Friday evening at sunset, surrounded by an intimate gathering of family and friends.
We had a lovely walk “down the aisle,” the exchange of beautiful words/vows with rings and small and sweet touches to create a beautiful lifetime moment.
Congratulations, Cori and Hasan – you did it your way!
You’ve got to love a couple who has such a fun-loving, inspiring and easy approach to life!
Surrounded by an intimate group of family and friends, Steve and Jane were married in the beautiful Sunshine of June 1st at the lovely Willows Lodge in Woodinville.
Event Manager Dana and staff put together a lovely big table for the after ceremony celebration – an atmosphere that was easy, simple and filled with so much love.
Congratulations to a very sweet and inspiring couple!
It was such a happy pleasure for me to marry two fabulous guys on a festive December Friday at The Willows Lodge.
Flying in from Arizona, Craig and Steve enjoyed a week in Seattle and were married at The Willows Lodge in Woodinville after – get this, more than 30 years of loving relationship!
Much continued happiness to you, Craig and Steve!
Chrissy + Mary.
Joined by Chrissy’s thrilled parents and their 2 dogs (and cousin dog!), Chrissy and Mary were married on a beautiful October afternoon at The Willows Lodge in Woodinville.
With a ceremony that included personal elements, we celebrated Chrissy and Mary’s beautiful love story and relationship in all of the best ways. Chrissy’s Mom and Dad also participated with a reading selection of their choice and we had so much fun after ceremony with photos!
Chrissy and Mary – so much happiness to you…and WOOF!
You’ve got to love a groom who can’t keep his eyes off of his bride!
And on a sweet September Saturday, Joey married the love of his life at Woodinville’s Willows Lodge, surrounded by a small and intimate group of family.
Even though their wedding day was truly a day for “2,” Joey and Jennifer designed their day so it was truly a celebration in all ways. And as I know so well: what is small is really big and what is big is really small!
Joey and Jennifer – much happiness to you!
Mindy + Jamie. Married July 13, 2013 at the marvelous Willows Lodge in Woodinville.
These two beautiful ladies traveled from Arkansas to be married in Washington State – they hope to re-locate here one day soon!
It was just a wedding day for “2,” and a celebration of a loving relationship that started more than 13 years ago. Working with me to create a thoughtful and intentional ceremony, Mindy and Jamie exchanged beautiful and personal vows under a warm cover of Seattle sunshine.
Much love and continued happiness to two very beautiful ladies!
I love a wedding ceremony and celebration for 2.
And while I love the hoopla, joy and delight of a wedding day with lots of family and friends and activity, I appreciate a couple who says “this is what works for us, this is what we want to do to celebrate us.”
Clayton and Michelle exchanged their vows at The Willows Lodge on June 21st, to the delight of their 2 witnesses. For this sweet couple, their ceremony moments and evening celebration was just perfect.
Clayton and Michelle – must happiness on your honeymoon to British Columbia!
